**Overview**

QRamp is a leading provider of innovative, stylish, and easily assembled modular access ramps for homes and businesses. As we bring our manufacturing in-house, we are looking to grow our local team in Wallaceburg, including our marketing team

Reporting to the President, The Business Manager is responsible for managing the resources of the finance department and works closely with the Operations Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager.

**Responsibilities**
Business Management
- Establish an annual business plan (ABP) for review and approval by the president (board) by no later than the end of the last quarter of the fiscal year
- Support continuous improvement activities through the development and implementation of standard operating procedures
- Review and approve all company policies in collaboration with the Operations and Sales & marketing Managers
- Lead all activities regarding legal engagement for swift resolve and best outcome for the company
- In conjunction with the Operations Manager, monitor and provide guidance to, the Joint Health and Safety Committee on correspondence and actions between the company and external stakeholders such as the Ministry of Labor and the company and external service providers
- Assist with the review and development all company projects

Financial Management
- Present to the president (board) analytical reports against period end financial statements, which detail action to remedy inefficiencies or negative trends, placing emphasis on quarterly and yearly period ends
- Analytical reports should be presented as a comparative to the ABP and historical company performance
- Use current costing data, lead the development of product pricing strategies that support profit margin targets

Personnel Management
- Review and support any structural personnel changes as proposed by other managing members of the company, while adhering to related company policies, processes, and personnel organizational chart
- In concert with the human resources representative ensure there is an active performance review process applied

Facilities Management

Encourage Teamwork and Inter-Departmental Collaboration:

- Assume a leadership role in developing activities that create a culture which promotes teamwork and encourages interdepartmental collaboration
- Collaborate with all Thruflow team members and maintain a positive working environment.

**Skills**
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Knowledge of business software with experience in Sage 300 preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to commute to or relocate to:
Wallaceburg, ON N8A 4L3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education & Experience**
- A Bachelor of Business Administration and Management or equivalent experience with demonstrated successes..

Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
