Soutient et/ou contribue à la planification des besoins de transport pour le déplacement efficace du volume dans le but de maximiser la capacité, de minimiser les charges partielles des remorques et d’assurer l’intégrité du service pour les zones assignées. Dirige l’expédition du matériel de transport conformément au plan de transport en ligne.

**Essential Functions**
- Collaborates with other FedEx field operations to efficiently and effectively plan both contractor and equipment needs to ensure sufficient coverage for trailer movements.
- Coordinates and tracks the processing and movement of FedEx trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, and dollies in the FedEx network.
- Manages locally domiciled Unassigned Team logistics throughout the LH network to maximize the use of resources as well as minimize the tractor dwell.
- In accordance with the Linehaul plan, directs the dispatch of transportation equipment.
- Ensures Linehaul dispatch and arrival rules are followed according to defined Company procedures.
- Coordinates cargo shipments to maximize the trailer volume while meeting package delivery obligations.
- Enters trip details into an online system (TMS) to ensure on time delivery and pick up of trailers.
- Verifies the location of equipment in the dispatch system by completing yard inventories.
- Verifies the load/unload status of trailers by completing yard checks. Timely reports missing equipment.
- Follows and communicates safety initiatives to ensure a safety-conscious culture.
- Investigates and reports schedule delays, accidents and equipment failures and implements contingency plans which ensure on-time load delivery in the event of an en-route breakdown or accident.
- Reviews and communicates Department of Transportation (DOT) roadside violations to management.
- Coordinates with the Safety and Maintenance departments to monitor the monthly tractor safety inspections and ensure annual certificates are obtained in compliance with the DOT.
- Reviews trailer load condition reports (TLCR’s ) to ensure proper completion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Scolarité minimum
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou GED requis. Baccalauréat en logistique, en affaires ou dans un domaine connexe, de préférence

Expérience minimum
- Expérience de répartition souhaitée

Connaissances et compétences
- Aptitudes de gestion du temps, compétences organisationnelles et multitâches nécessaires pour travailler dans un environnement d’équipe rapide, gérer diverses tâches et priorités changeantes, tout en maintenant une grande attention aux détails et une précision pour atteindre les tâches et objectifs quotidiens.
- Aptitudes de communication verbales et écrites nécessaires pour communiquer avec divers publics. Capacité de travailler de manière productive dans un environnement d’équipe et de mettre en œuvre efficacement des processus opérationnels.
- Connaissance des concepts, pratiques, procédures et réglementations de transport utilisés dans les opérations de terrain transport routier, y compris les réglementations du ministère des transports.
