General Dental Office Receptionist

**Responsibilities**
- Manage scheduling for dental appointments and coordinate with dental professionals to optimize patient flow.
- Oversee billing processes, including insurance claims and patient payments, while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Implement and maintain electronic medical records systems to ensure compliance with regulations and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage office budgets, tracking expenses and revenues to ensure financial health of the practice.
- Train and mentor staff on office procedures, medical terminology, and best practices in patient care.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork and professional development.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a dental or medical office management role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software or similar dental practice management systems is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records management.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Background in human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background as a nurse or experience in a hospital setting may be beneficial but is not required.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
