**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Focused**:as a dental receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your warm and welcoming demeanor, both on the phone and in person, will create a positive and inviting atmosphere
- **Effective Scheduling**: Utilize your expertise in Dental Scheduling Software to manage patient appointments, ensuring a smooth and organized flow of the schedule.
- **Administrative Support**: Handle patient records, insurance claims, billing and other administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- **Communication Guru**: Excellent communication skills are vital. You'll be engaging with patients, colleagues, and insurance companies daily, so effective and empathetic communication is key.
- **Organization**: Manage the front desk area and ensure it is clean and organized.
- **Customer Service**: Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a **dental **receptionist
- Fluency in English
- Flexible to work on weekends and cover for other staff members as required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional phone and face-to-face customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
- Self-Motivated individual, always looking to improve themselves and pursue more continuing education
- Good technical skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, printing/scanning, etc.) and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Team player

**Nice to Haves**:

- Proficiency with Dentrix dental scheduling software
- Familiar with RecallMax software
- Dental assisting background

As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our dental practice. You will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can effectively manage the front desk area. **Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
