Vice Principal/ Director of Academic Affairs

LONDON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY IS A PRESTIGIOUS PRIVATE BOARDING HIGHSCHOOL IN CANADA OFFERING FULL ONTARIO HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION SINCE 2002 AND CERTIFIED IB INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE SCHOOL. WE ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCE LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT CANDIDATE TO SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE SCHOOL ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT TEAM.

Role: The role, Vice Principal/ Director of Academic Affairs, reporting to the principal, supports the academic mission of the school by carrying out and supervising the day-to-day operations of the LIA academic program OSSD/IB/AP.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Co-Ordinator in the seamless delivery of the IB and AP program with external testing results.

**Teachers’ hiring, training and evaluation.**

Develop, Implement and Review all course outlines in collaboration with Faculty, create master course timetabling schedules and teacher assignments.

Develop and nurture a strong relationship with students, to review their academic progress, chart their academic development and ensure student wellness is at the forefront of all interactions.

Supervise the Academic Education Assistant in the execution of Academic Affair’s functions.

Be directed by the principal at any time to perform a function that is deemed important, but not included in the above job description.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
IB or AP teaching experiences at least 3 years

Experienced Management and leadership skills in Academic setting

Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience working abroad in International Academic setting is a plus.
