**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual who has a desire to be part of a rapidly scaling tech firm. As the VP, Finance you will be able to significantly impact the strategic direction of the organization and drive maturity and growth within your department as well as those around you.

**On a Typical Day, You Will**:

- Lead a team of accounting professionals to oversee all aspects of the finance strategy for DOZR.
- Understand the company’s visions, mission and roadmap - play an active role in the identification, assessment and execution of growth opportunities.
- Support efforts toward new sources of financing and capital markets / investment.
- Create business / revenue plans, fact books, and prepare presentation materials for banks, analysts and investors.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports; prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to peers at the executive level as well as the Board of Directors.
- Identify any potential risk areas and present them to senior management.
- Review and present the monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.
- Ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with professional standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assume DOZR’s treasury functions including relationships with various banks, globally.
- Coordinate all financial and tax compliance activity. Be the principal lead with our external advisors.
- Leading and guiding FP&A activities within your multidiscipline team.
- Provide oversight and guidance on tax related matters including global tax strategies, transfer pricing and various compliance issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with external advisors, auditors, board members and regulatory bodies.
- Develop managers within your team and support stretch OKRs.
- Ensure strong vendor / supplier relationships regarding accounts payable.

- Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting, with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience in financial roles with executive levels of responsibility.
- A comprehensive understanding of financial practices, Canadian and US GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of the investment and venture capital raising process for a scaling tech firm.
- Self-motivated and able to maintain strict deadlines for closing processes and project timelines.
- A strong, hands-on leader who will encourage growth and engagement within the accounting team.
- Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate at the executive and board levels of an organization.
- Successfully lead a finance team through a growth equity round (Series C, D + or assisted with IPO).
- Organized and structured, with the ability to set strategy, build a plan and execute.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, with ability to drive change and maintain best practices in accounting.
- Well versed in the tech sector with strong preference to those who have worked in two sided online marketplaces.
