Horizon Retirement Management is a manager of private residences for seniors (RPA) with 8 residences in the greater Montreal area and in Ottawa. Join our more than 500 dedicated employees who provide our residents with a daily client experience focused on well-being.

**_The Château Dollard is looking for a prep cook to fill in during the summer vacations (14 weeks in total)_**

**Main duties**:

- Participate in the preparation and cooking, by appropriate methods, of all types of food (soup, meat, vegetables, desserts, etc.)
- Prepare light meals when required
- Assist or replace the food assistant or the dining room attendant as needed
- Ensure that food and other supplies are stocked for the kitchen and dining room set-up

**Requirements**:

- Kitchen helper's training or equivalent (desirable)
- 1 year relevant experience
- Certificate in hygiene and salubrity MAPAQ (asset)
- **Good command of the English language** (mostly English-speaking clientele)

**_Le Château Dollard est à la recherche d’un aide-cuisinier pour occuper un poste de remplacement durant les vacances estivales (14 semaine au total)_**

**Fonctions principales**:

- Participer à la préparation et à la cuisson, par les méthodes appropriées, d’aliments de tout genre (soupe, viande, légume, desserts, etc.)
- Effectuer lorsque requis la préparation de repas légers
- Assister ou remplacer au besoin l’aide alimentaire ou le préposé(e) à la salle à manger
- S’assurer d’approvisionner les stocks alimentaires et autres pour la mise en place de la cuisine et de la salle à manger

**Exigences**:

- AEP d’aide-cuisinier ou l’équivalent (souhaitable)
- 1 an d’expérience pertinente
- Certificat en hygiène et salubrité MAPAQ (atout)
- Maîtrise de la langue française et de la langue anglaise
- Bienveillant, responsable et sympathique

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $14.87 per hour
