**About the Position**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Drafting and Design**:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of industrial ventilation systems using CAD software. Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings.

**System Layouts**:

- Develop layout plans for industrial ventilation systems, considering factors such as airflow, ductwork, and equipment placement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

**Material and Component Selection**:

- Work closely with the engineers and project managers to select appropriate materials and components for ventilation system construction.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in ventilation technology.

**Quality Control**:

- Review and validate drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any discrepancies or issues identified during the drafting process.

**Documentation**:

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of ventilation system designs, including bill of materials and technical specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of user manuals and installation guides.

**Qualifications**:

- CET, Drafting Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Drafter, with a focus on industrial ventilation systems.
- Sheet Metal Drafting and/or pipe processing experience considered an asset.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of industrial ventilation principles and design standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.

**How to Apply**:

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
