Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Drafter to join our Industrial & Infrastructure Business line in the Burnaby office.

**About the Role**
- Deliver design drafting according to key deliverables by preparing design drawings on time and to quality standards.
- Maintain consistent design standards across projects by understanding and adhering to Ausenco and Client’s design drafting standards.
- Ensure drawings produced are balanced, symmetrical and have a neat appearance.
- Provide support to the drawing office by assisting senior designers and performing a range of tasks as required.
- Provide design suggestions where appropriate.
- Comply with relevant business management system (or quality) policies & procedures.
- Develop the capability of Ausenco in relation to design drafting by seeking advice and support from more experienced designers
- Work with designers and drafters across the business in a range of design tasks
- Liaise with engineers and senior designers for direction, specifications, and feedback

**About You**
- Technical diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in Drafting
- 0-1 years’ experience
- Experience with Latest AutoCAD version 2021 with a good understanding of:

- Layering
- Annotative scale
- Tool palettes
- Standards
- Dynamic blocks
- Proven attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Commitment and enthusiasm for learning
- Able to work and communicate in a team environment
- Ability to quickly absorb and use company-specific techniques, standards and procedures
- Knowledge and / or experience of SmartPlant software such as SP3D, SPI, SPEL will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Revit will be an asset.
