**Position Overview
Join Beedie Living’s fast-paced and creative marketing team for the summer and play an integral role in the marketing of our communities. This role will focus on improving our social media efforts so we can better connect with our audience. This role will have direct exposure to Beedie Living’s entire scope of current developments allowing you to develop a deep understanding of what goes into creating our communities and turning those into engaging stories. You will also be involved in other facets of marketing including branding, events, advertising and more. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the residential marketing team and sales team to create and execute on a social media marketing strategy
- Find stories to share about our communities - expect to be on the move checking out different projects and neighbourhoods
- Social media scheduling & tracking: determine the best platform to post and track social media efforts
- Social media content creation: creating, writing, editing and sharing social content
- Social media engagement: engage with our audience, explore collaborations and other opportunities
- Graphic design & editing: create brand-aligned graphics to accompany social posts
- Support marketing team in other facets as needed

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in a related area (Business, Marketing, PR, Communications)
- Very creative in producing on-brand, engaging content that connects with our audience
- Strong graphic design and editing skills using platforms such as Adobe Design Suite or Canva
- You are up to date with latest trends on social media
- You have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated, resourceful and personable
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to create written content such as blog posts is a bonus

**Applicant Must Have**:

- Experience in creating high-caliber social media content (please include examples of work completed)
- Experience in working with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- This position requires travel throughout the Lower Mainland, reliable access to a vehicle is required
