**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook tandoori dishes such as **tandoori chicken, naan, roti, and kebabs**using a traditional clay oven (tandoor).
- Handle marination and spice mixing, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in kitchen inventory management.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section according to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Follow standard recipes while also contributing to the development of new dishes.
- Manage cooking times and heat levels to avoid overcooking or undercooking items.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance and proper functioning of the tandoor oven.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of traditional Indian spices, marination techniques, and tandoori cooking methods.
- Familiarity with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Culinary certification or equivalent training is preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of experience in Indian or South Asian cuisine.
- Experience in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian tandoori dishes.
- Ability to train junior staff in tandoor techniques.
