Biospective is looking for a passionate **Research Associate** to join our preclinical team.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and executing animal model studies using various in vivo and ex vivo measures, project management, data analysis, and reporting. You will be working closely with Study Directors and Team Members on these activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Generation of rodent models of CNS diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and multiple sclerosis.
- Phenotyping of rodent models using multiple techniques, including, but not limited to, imaging studies, clinical assessments and behavioral studies, and histopathology/IHC.
- Dosing of rodent models with experimental therapeutic agents, as required.
- Compilation and analysis of data, and preparation of comprehensive reports.
- Regular attendance and active participation in internal R&D meetings.
- Preparation of abstracts, posters, presentations, articles, whitepapers, and journal manuscripts.
- Working with other Preclinical & Laboratory team members to develop timelines for the execution of preclinical and laboratory-related studies and ensuring that the necessary resources are in place for the conduct of these studies.
**Skills and Requirements**:
- Master’s or PhD degree in relevant Science field
- Experience in animal surgery (ideally stereotaxic surgeries) and rodent behavioral experiments
- Ability to read and understand English; bilingualism is an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to manage time efficiently

Biospective est à la recherche d'un **Associé de recherche** passionné pour rejoindre notre équipe préclinique.
Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de la conception et de l'exécution d'études de modèles murins au moyen de mesures in vivo et ex vivo, de la gestion de projets, de l'analyse de données et de la production de rapports. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les responsables d'études et les membres de l'équipe.
**Responsabilités**:
- Génération de modèles de rongeurs pour les maladies du système nerveux central, telles que la maladie d'Alzheimer, la maladie de Parkinson, la sclérose latérale amyotrophique et la sclérose en plaques.
- Phénotypage des modèles de rongeurs à l'aide de multiples techniques, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, des études d'imagerie, des évaluations cliniques et des études comportementales, ainsi que l'histopathologie/IHC.
- Dosage des modèles de rongeurs avec des agents thérapeutiques expérimentaux, le cas échéant.
- Compilation et analyse des données, et préparation de rapports de qualité.
- Participation régulière aux réunions internes de R&D.
- Préparation de synthèses, d'affiches, de présentations, d'articles, de « whitepapers » et de manuscrits pour des revues scientifiques.
- Collaborer avec les membres de l'équipe préclinique et de laboratoire afin d'établir des échéanciers pour la réalisation d'études précliniques et de laboratoire et veiller à ce que les ressources nécessaires soient en place pour la mener à bien ces études.
**Exigences et compétences requises**:
- Master ou doctorat dans un domaine scientifique pertinent
- Expérience en chirurgie animale (idéalement chirurgies stéréotaxiques) et en expérimentation de comportement chez les rongeurs
- Capacité à lire et à comprendre l'anglais ; le bilinguisme est un atout
- Capacité à travailler en équipe
- Capacité à gérer son temps efficacement
- Connaissance en informatique des systèmes utilisés pour le poste
