We are looking to hire a Research Associate supporting the **Analyst covering the Technology and Diversified Industrials sectors**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting in the preparation of financial models to forecast quarterly and annual earnings, including maintaining and enhancing financial models and databases
- Compiling and analyzing relevant company and industry information, originating from a broad variety of sources (such as financial databases, industry publications and tradeshows/conferences)
- Assisting in the preparation of company and industry research reports (e.g. quarterly reporting initiatives and marketing packages)
- Writing of research reports
- Intellectual curiosity, the ability to learn quickly, and an exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage a heavy work load, meet stringent deadlines, and perform under pressure (sometimes for extended periods of time)
- Superior business writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent spreadsheet and financial analysis/modelling skills. Experience with integrated, three statement modelling.
- Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and put in the hours (often on short notice) - evening and weekend work is often required
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ or Factset would be an asset
- Above all, a passion for equity research & investing and a keen sense of humour

**Required Education & Experience**
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business
- Work experience or training in financial modeling with integrated, three-statement models along with DCF analysis.
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Research Associate or similar role is an asset although not required
