**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special offerings that reflect current trends.
- Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
- Handle customer feedback and concerns professionally, striving for continuous improvement in service quality.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a chef or cook role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling.
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively.
- Experience in restaurant management is a plus, including scheduling and staff training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
Pay: $17.25-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
