**What will your daily life look like?**:

- Advise and support second language learners in their learning;
- Advise and support tutors on an individual and collective basis to support their daily tasks;
- Advise and support clients in planning language training solutions;
- Analyze, advise and participate with stakeholders in the development and implementation of strategies and projects aimed at helping learners who present or may encounter learning difficulties;
- Initiate learners' language training and monitor progress through reports, assessments and regular communication with learners, tutors and clients;
- Collaborate on existing product improvement projects as well as the creation of new ones;
- Offer support to other departments in need of a teaching assistant;
- Start and track the progress of groups and individual learners;
- Solve problems involving learners, tutors and clients of LRDG;
- Provide pedagogical support to second language learners and tutors;
- Provide support to other departments that need pedagogical assistance;
- Collaborate on improvement projects for existing products as well as the creation of new ones;
- Participate in meetings with other departments to collaborate on various projects;
- All other related tasks.

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree from a Canadian university (or equivalent) in education or in another discipline deemed relevant;
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching French or English as a second language;
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English;
- Ability to use information and communication technologies (Office suite and videoconferencing);
- Knowledge of the federal government's bilingualism levels, an asset;
- Knowledge of CEFR language proficiency levels an asset;
- Knowledge of language proficiency tests would be advantageous.
