We are a well-established retail business specializing in the home interior decorating and renovation market. Our focus is on delivering high-quality flooring and home improvement products, supported by exceptional customer service.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a new selling system, training sales staff on pricing, presenting solutions, and closing sales in-home.
- Oversee the renovation and merchandising of the showroom, ensuring it highlights hardwood, tile, luxury vinyl, and waterproof laminate.
- Develop a core product program in collaboration with suppliers and sales staff, balancing everyday sellers, specialty products, and premium lines.
- Roll out a new software system to track customer leads, measure closing rates, and strengthen follow-up.
- Introduce digital in-home measuring tools and train the team on their use.
- Coordinate closely with the warehouse manager to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and motivation to create a high-performance sales culture.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven leadership experience in retail management (home improvement, flooring, or related industries preferred).
- Strong sales coaching and training skills.
- Knowledge of showroom merchandising and product program development.
- Comfortable adopting and implementing new technology.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Remuneration
- A high base salary to reflect the leadership responsibilities.
- Commissions on sales to reward direct contributions to revenue.
- Bonuses tied to company performance when key targets are achieved.
