**SUMMARY**:
Under the direction of the Front Office Manager the Relief Duty Manager ensures that the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour’s guest expectations are met and exceeded by delivering quality guest service while supervising and guiding the guest services team. This is a hands-on operational position based in the Front Office, where the Relief Duty Manager will be providing relief coverage for the FOM and Duty Manager’s as needed.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Set the tone in the lobby (music, atmosphere) and ensure the hotel is “show ready”.
- Contribute to the teamwork atmosphere within the hotel and ensure quality service at the Front Desk, AYS, Night Audit, Bell, Valet, and Concierge departments in collaboration with the Guest Services Management team.
- Support the team by performing various Guest Services, Valet, Bell duties as required, and ensuring lobby presence during peak volume.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Assist with training and development of all team members.
- Ensure accurate communication of information regarding guest requests to all relevant departments.
- Collaborate with various departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage inventory in MARSHA, PMS & complete daily reports.
- Manage Sertifi’s and set up CC authorization forms.
- Execute daily property walks to report on any engineering or housekeeping issues.
- Assist with emergency preparedness (fire/medical/power/system failure).
- Assist other departments as business levels require.
- Others duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a front office role within the hotel industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel software and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work days/nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
