Ashton Mechanical Group is growing We are currently hiring for **Journeyman Plumbers** to join our team We will also consider 3rd and 4th year apprentices based on experience. We have projects all over the Lower Mainland, from Squamish to Agassiz, so **must be willing to travel to various projects as required.**

- Our Residential Team services homes throughout the Lower Mainland, completing around 10,000 service calls and 600 installations per year

**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Measure, cut, thread, bend pipes as required
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Red Seal Plumbing Certificate would be an asset
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficient knowledge of construction site processes, especially large institutional new construction
- Good general knowledge of all Plumbing and Heating including knowledge of the most recent BC Plumbing Code
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Willingness and ability to travel to various sites across the Lower Mainland as required

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
