A leading Tier One Automotive Company is recruiting for a Materials ERP Specialist / Analyst.

Specific Responsibilities
- Support the Materials Manager with process improvement initiatives spanning multiple business units with daily interaction - Customer Service, Shipping, and Production.
- Provide second opinions and engage in discussions regarding opportunities to improve processes throughout business unit - specifically with ERP programming and management.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to report results and determine customer value impacts.
- Provide support and develop user friendly functionality and interfaces within ERP system, to support the business and understanding of customers’ needs and wants, providing the focus needed to increase revenue and profitability.
- Analytics and coaching support for inventory management in the business units
- Identify business units requiring additional support, coaching, or training in the ERP system
- Build reports in ERP to support operational processes
- Reporting for overseas PCNs
- Support company’s strategic business plan by delivering on the Operations systems objectives.
- Work with cross functional teams to support inventory management, scheduling, OSP scheduling, parts from international vendors, etc.
- Analyze business processes (i.e. value stream mapping) for all related to the Materials Department
- Provide GAP analysis by using experience as well as leveraging technical skills to assess, prioritize, optimize, and determine the impacts and benefits of numerous potential ideas and implementations.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree with a focus in Materials and Supply Chain Management
- 7+ years of experience with ERP systems, PRP, MRP, and managing inventory with the ability to build reports, program, and trouble-shoot
- PLEX ERP system experience considered an asset (not mandatory)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to synthesize data
- Organized and task oriented
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad based information systems and utilizing advanced tools and techniques to effect business change
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong ability to focus on detail, accuracy, and take initiative
- Ability to use appropriate tact for communicating with customers
- Communication skills sufficient to deal with external and internal suppliers on issues pertaining to expediting and shipping product
- Ability to interpret purchase orders
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory
- Working knowledge of the Materials/Purchasing modules in ERP systems
- Working knowledge of Materials Resource Planning (MRP)
