About the Position
Specific Responsibilities of the ERP Development and Support Team:

- Assists with process improvement initiatives spanning multiple business units with daily interaction of business systems.
- Applies an improvement-focused mindset to determine and find opportunities for streamlining business and operational processes.
- Provides second opinions and engages in discussions regarding opportunities to improve processes throughout business unit - specifically with ERP programming and management.
- Participates in cross-functional meetings to report results and determine customer value impacts.
- Provides support and develops user friendly functionality with interfaces within ERP system, to support the business and understanding of stakeholders’ needs and wants, providing the focus needed to increase revenue and profitability.
- Analysis of data on a regular basis in locating areas of improvement before they become problems.
- Identifies business units requiring additional support, coaching, or training in the ERP system
- Builds reports in ERP to support operational processes
- Supports the company’s strategic business plan by delivering on the operations systems objectives.
- Works with IT Dept. functional teams in all aspects of ERP and system requirements etc.
- Works on Security initiatives for ensuring ERP and other systems are not exposed to any risks.
- Collaborates with BI analyst in developing reports/systems and providing a backup to this position.
- Provides GAP analysis by using experience as well as leveraging technical skills to assess, prioritize, optimize, and determine the impacts and benefits of numerous potential ideas and implementations.

QualificationsPost-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Computer Systems
- 3+ years of experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- PLEX ERP system experience considered an asset (not mandatory)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to synthesize data
- Organized and project-orientedProject Management skills are an asset
- SQL, Report writing and BI knowledge (Power BI an asset)
- Understanding of EDI and Barcode Labeling
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects concurrently ensuring that timelines are balanced with resource constraints and resulting deadlines are met
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process optimization, involving broad based information systems and utilizing advanced tools and techniques to effect business change
- Solid analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong ability to focus on detail, accuracy
- Demonstrate the initiative to look for opportunities for improvement and ownership of tasks
- Ability to use appropriate tact for communicating with customers
- Communication skills sufficient to deal with external and internal stakeholders
- Working knowledge ERP systems and Business Process and how each module interacts with the other

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in an automotive environment
