**The Team**:
The Global Security Team is responsible for the protection of the people, assets, and reputation of Mattel. We accomplish this by hiring, training, & developing top security and investigation professionals, implementing effective policies, collaborating with others, and by leveraging existing and emerging technologies.
**Job Description** The Opportunity**:
This position is located at Mega Brand’s headquarters in Ville St. Laurent. **This is a part-time position on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., including public holidays**. The security officer may be required to work the first, second and third shifts, based on business needs.

**What Your Impact Will Be**:
**Physical Security**
- Enforce Mattel Global Security Department’s Best Practices.
- Completes security duties and related tasks as set forth in the Contingency Operations and SOP manuals.
- Perform administrative data.
- Coordinates traffic control.
- Completes mobile and foot patrols to monitor the campus for security and facilities-related concerns. Monitors the access control system, CCTV system, and the “Guardtrax” management system.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all Mattel employees, vendors, and visitors on property.

**Safety**

Additional responsibilities may be requested based on business needs at your location. Overtime may be required on short notice.
**Qualifications** What We’re Looking For**:

- Analytical abilities to think critically making clear, well-reasoned rational decisions.
- Accountability to hold yourself, your team, and your partners to the highest standard for performance necessary for the achievement of results.
- Mature judgment, strong communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels. Understanding and influencing others and their actions are important in providing a safe, orderly environment.
- Working knowledge of PCs and software including MS Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.

**Qualifications**:

- One+ years of Security, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Law Enforcement, or military background preferred.
- High school diploma (DES) or GED required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a valid Security Guard License
- Must be certified in First Aid, CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens, OR be willing to obtain certification through training provided by Mattel (annual training provided).
- Must be able to work varying shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business policies, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to stand and walk, go up/downstairs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use post-security equipment (handheld and walk-thru metal detectors, handheld radios, access control systems, CCTV).
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
