Richmond, Canada Steveston Society of Children's Centres Full time

Job Summary:
Come join our amazing team with Steveston Society of Children's Centres (SSOCC) with our Summer Camps program. We are currently looking for an individual to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day to support one of our amazing school aged participant’s. Our participant has an ASD diagnosis, uses touch chat for communication and loves to be outside. Participant does not require any physical mobility supports. Other aspects of the role will be to participate and support inclusion into the summer programming and working on social connections within the group. Some other support tasks such as assistance with verbal prompts for participation, meals and toileting will be needed. Behavioral Intervention experience an asset.

Schedule:
August 2025, Monday to Friday, 8h/day

**Requirements**:

- Ability to successfully pass a criminal record search
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with behavioral challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-08-04
