JOB PURPOSE
Under the supervision of the Process and System Team Leader, the Business Process Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and documenting various business processes. The analyst's knowledge of the company, its processes and systems will enable him/her to play an advisory role with various internal and external stakeholders. He/she will liaise between stakeholders and internal and external technical resources in the implementation and modification of technologies and systems.
- Define and refine business needs in collaboration with company stakeholders;
- Analyze, model and document business processes;
- Explain the business context and the impact of projects on the organization's processes;
- Help explain the impact of complex problems and team up with other colleagues and partners to find the best solution to problems;
- Present concrete and effective solutions adapted to the needs of internal customers;
- Advise and assist business teams with a view to improvement and innovation;
- Help identify ROI for various initiatives;
- Document analyses, proposed solutions and impacts;
- Act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders and the IT department;
- Participate in quality control activities and unit and integrated testing;
- Participate in the preparation and distribution of training content for users;
- Participate in quality assurance for deliverables produced by service providers and team members;
- Proactively document solutions, processes, concepts and lessons learned;
- Collaborate with analysts and support teams to document, prioritize and resolve issues;
- Communicate effectively with non-technical staff and team members;
- Perform all other related tasks.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with an option in information management or operations management, or other equivalent training;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in retail, mainly in head office operations and as a business analyst;
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT business analysis;
- Analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills;
- Experience in systems implementation;
- Ability to document and understand business processes and workflow clearly and concisely;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Spoken and written bilingualism, English and French;
- Good knowledge of Office Suite (Teams,Outlook, Excel, Word,) ;
- Interpersonal skills, strong customer service skills and team spirit.
