**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
It will be the role of the General Manager to aid the **Director of Hospitality **with the coordinating, directing and planning of everyday business operations within the location. The General Manager is required to deliver revenues and profits by developing marketing, financials, and providing heightened **restaurant** service; managing staff, operational procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, while determining and implementing system improvements. The Hospitality Director may delegate based on personal discretion or on company policy, but usually, the General Manager is responsible for tasks such as schedule generation, day-to-day oversight of restaurant and beverage procedures and operations, and limited disciplinary actions. As GM you will become a liaison with Human Resources regarding the evaluation of employees throughout the year, as well as the recruitment and training of new employees as necessary.
Previous managing experience is a must for General Managers, as the position will require experience communicating with subordinates. The GM must be able to work at a fast pace. Individuals may be asked to manage a large number of tasks, so organization and the ability to work quickly are required.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**_**:_
- Manage employees, making sure they follow regulations and meet guest service standards.
- Creating financial objectives by motivating staff and implementing marketing strategies.
- Schedule manager and employee shifts and administer payroll.
- Act as liaison between Management Team and the Director Of Operations
- Work in tandem with team members and provide training and correction as necessary
- Monitor department specific inventory and report any needs to the Hospitality Director
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints and comments as needed
- Assists in mentoring fellow team members and Culinary Teams
- Is striving to be the next Director within our company
**EXPERIENCE**:
- 3- 5 years Management experience within the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree, business administration preferred but, not a requirement
- Strong organizational and leadership
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
