We are looking for a dynamic and energetic **General Manager** in our brand new Waterloo centre, who embodies top level hospitality and leadership to join our team. The **General Manager** is integral to the overall success of the entire centre. The General Manager is responsible for instilling a culture of hospitality and excellent guest service while overseeing the financial and operational success of their venue through planning and strategy, labor/scheduling, decision making, process improvement, and quality focus an efficient and profitable operation.
As **General Manager**, you are an enthusiastic role model who builds positive relationships with your team members and promotes a positive and inclusive work environment. As a passionate team leader, you believe in the importance of training team members to ensure high standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness are achieved. Centre Manager’s manage all financial aspects of the centre and will have to balance financial success with the delivery of awesome products and experiences.

**What will you be doing?**
- Establish standards for guest service
- Set policies and procedures
- Organize and coordinate all people and operations
- Motivate and coach team members, shift leaders and managers
- Oversee hiring and developing the team including shift leaders and managers
- Evaluate team performance and identifies hiring and training needs
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competition)
- Develop and assign tasks to managers and team, oversees completion
- Provide recognition and constructive feedback throughout the shifts as appropriate
- Work closely with event sales manager to build revenue and repeat business
- Work closely with the management team to ensure that the centre is functioning in all capacities
- Work closely with maintenance operations supervisor to ensure health of facility
- Develop operational plans and budgets
- Create sales and marketing plans
- Reviewing COG’s weekly and monthly P&L statements
- Work closely with other management to achieve revenue goals and meet budget standards
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures including all health and safety policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence and completes all company systems and checklists
- Create action plans and reports for head office management
- Be polite and courteous with guests and fellow team members
- Provide resolutions for guest and team member issues
- Other duties as required
