We are seeking a **Maintenance Manager** with proven expertise in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical manufacturing equipment to lead the maintenance team and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production equipment, including**:
  • Encapsulation machines (capsule fillers)
  • Tablet compression machines
  • Coating machines
  • Packaging lines (bottling, capping, labeling, induction sealers, heat tunnels)
  • Stick packaging lines
  • Mixing/blending equipment and other supporting utilities.
  • **Develop and implement a preventive and predictive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.**:
  • **Lead and supervise the maintenance team; provide training and ensure compliance with GMP and safety requirements.**:
  • **Maintain accurate maintenance logs, calibration records, and spare parts inventory.**:
  • **Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and Engineering teams to support smooth and compliant operations.**:
  • **Coordinate with equipment vendors for technical support, spare parts, and service contracts.**:
  • **Ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with Health Canada, FDA, and GMP standards.**:
  • **Support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and assist in commissioning of new machinery.**:
  • **Participate in root cause analysis, CAPA investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.**

**Qualifications**

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food production equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP, Health & Safety, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience leading a team and managing cross-departmental priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
