MINI TIPI, a women-founded Canadian lifestyle brand, is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to lead our dynamic production team. Based in Gatineau, Quebec, we create exclusive designs that address the critical lack of authentic Indigenous representation in the têxtile industry. All our products are proudly designed, cut, and sewn locally in Quebec.

- About the Role

As Production Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in driving operational excellence while nurturing a collaborative team environment. You'll oversee our production staff, optimize processes, and ensure the highest quality standards in our Quebec-based manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a skilled production team, fostering collaboration and performance excellence
- Optimize production processes and establish quality control measures
- Manage equipment maintenance and inventory systems
- Coordinate production schedules to meet sales demands
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with CNESST regulations
- Maintain detailed documentation and track key performance metrics

Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of industrial sewing experience
- Proven team leadership and management abilities
- Expert knowledge of sewing techniques and industrial machinery
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with MS Suite, Google Workspace, and inventory systems
- Experience with production line operations

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles
- Experience with Cin7 Core
- Strong problem-solving abilities and priority management skills

Our facility is conveniently located in Aylmer, Gatineau, with parking provided.

Pay: From $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
