The Production Planner/Scheduler provides a valuable link between our customers and Apex Aluminum Extrusions. As the Production Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring the customers’ needs are met in conjunction with the needs of our production departments ensuring problems are resolved efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.

**Duties Include**:

- Schedule all production for all departments to meet on time delivery requirements.
- Control and maintain accurate inventory data for raw materials and finished goods.
- Understand customer needs and work with the Customer Service and Sales teams.
- Work with sales, production, and shipping personnel to understand and meet customer needs and ensure timely delivery.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Dynamic personality with an ability to learn quickly, be proactive and adapt to changing requirements.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to work with both Metric and Imperial measurements.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of related experience in production planning and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing set up.
- Minimum of 1 year Customer Service experience
