Our team is looking for a Demand Planner to join our team and take our demand management agenda to the next level This role will lead the charge in implementing solutions to improve forecast accuracy, and play a critical role in ensuring that our
Manufacturing, Distribution centers, and branch management levels are all aligned with the latest forecast estimations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Evaluate previous year sales by month, in both units and costs
- Analyze demand profiles broken out by customer and product families
- Run adjusted sales forecasting by client, region, product and provide to sales levels for validation
- Provide estimates by product category to varying management levels
- Measure actual sales and production performance against forecasts, monitoring for required adjustments
- Conduct entry adjustments to forecasted estimates
- Lead production planning department
- Lead and manage demand management process through cross-functional team collaboration
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities in the forecasting process
- Establish ongoing process improvement activities in the forecasting process

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering is preferred
- 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar demand planning role
- 5 years’ minimum leading a cross-functional team
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access are required
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word)
- Knowledge of SQL language, VBA, and database management
- Previous experience in manufacturing
- Experience with cross functional teams such as Logistics/Warehousing, Finance, and Sales
- Certification in Business Forecasting or Sales and Operations Planning an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
