« Street Outreach » est un programme de l’Association des jeunes de la rue, destiné à engager et à soutenir les personnes qui peuvent vivre sans-abris, dans des tentes ou dans d’autres lieux non destinés à l’habitation humaine. Le personnel du programme se rend à pied ou en voiture dans les endroits où les gens sont connus et offre de l’aide aux individus en fournissant une vaste gamme de services visant l’intervention, le logement et l’intégration sociale et communautaire.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Apporter un soutien de proximité aux personnes en situation de crise et les référer si nécessaire;
- Signaler tous les obstacles systémiques qui affectent les clients;
- Capacité à remplir les inscriptions sur la liste des noms de la ville, les formulaires d’admission et à utiliser les technologies informatiques pour établir des rapports statistiques; rédiger des notes de journal à la fin de chaque quart de travail;
- Si nécessaire, transporter et accompagner la clientèle aux rendez-vous prévus, aux audiences du tribunal ou fournir un soutien à l’isolement en période de pandémie;
- Gérer les situations d’urgence en veillant au respect des politiques et des procédures;
- Assurer la gestion des crises;
- Être un modèle positif et efficace pour la clientèle et les paires;
- Maintenir les normes de sécurité et signaler toute préoccupation;
- Éliminer les aiguilles en toute sécurité, conformément à la politique;
- Sur demande, travailler une « Alerte par très grand froid » : marcher, assister à des cliniques et toutes autres tâches liées au travail qui peut être assigné en rapport direct avec le programme.

**EXIGENCES**
- Diplôme ou certificat d’études collégiales en services sociaux ou dans un domaine connexe;
- Minimum d’un an d’expérience pertinente;
- Un permis de conduire valide et le maintien de ce permis sont obligatoires;
- Un certificat valide en : RCR, premiers soins, prévention du suicide, intervention non violente et en situation de crise;
- Bonne connaissance du système d’hébergement et de logement;
- Bonne connaissance de la réduction des risques et des approches tenant compte des traumatismes;
- La maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit.
- Afin de répondre aux besoins de la clientèle, travailler le soir ou la fin de semaine, au besoin.

Rémunération : 27,72$ par heure

Heures prévues : 40 par semaine
