Job Posting: Part-time Outreach Worker (Night Shift)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Part-time Outreach Worker. This position requires availability for night shifts, with a commitment of 10-15 hours per week. If you have a passion for providing support to individuals dealing with substance use challenges, and night-time availability is a must for you, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct outreach activities during the night shift to connect with individuals struggling with substance use.
- Offer non-judgmental support, information, and resources to individuals seeking assistance with their substance use challenges.
- Build relationships with community members, establishing trust and understanding their unique needs to provide appropriate support and referrals.
- Collaborate with other members of the outreach team to coordinate efforts and ensure comprehensive assistance to individuals in need.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of outreach activities and client interactions.
- Develop strong knowledge of harm reduction and best practices.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of substance use support.

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work night shifts (10-15 hours per week) is essential for this position.
- Must have valid G drivers license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards those dealing with substance use challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of local resources and services available to individuals struggling with substance use is an asset.
- Lived experience in overcoming personal substance use challenges is highly valued.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
