**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The Receiver will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Load and unload packages using forklifts and reach trucks.
- Utilize MRP systems for tracking inventory levels and order fulfillment.
- Organize products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods using AS400 or similar systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping and receiving operations.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and audits.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse distribution preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and package handling techniques.
- Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in shipments.
- Knowledge of MRP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
