Matrix is looking to recruit a Warehouse Associate with a Class 5 driver's license and forklift experience for a client based in Dartmouth NS.

This position includes shipping and receiving duties, completing shipments by processing, loading and delivering orders, and general warehouse duties,

This client regularly receives sea containers with material that that once off loaded will be transferred to the warehouse. The material must be organized at the warehouse optimizing space until delivery. All material must be delivered to Halifax from the Burnside warehouse. Pickups are also required from various suppliers in Burnside.

A monthly inventory will be required for small tools and consumables, keeping always a minimum quantity in stock replacing items as necessary to avoid shortfalls.

**Requirements**:

- Working in an industrial, customer focused environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Must be able to drive a truck not exceeding 14.000 kg (30.864 lbs) - Class 5 Driving License
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Forklift experience
- Receiving experience, and computer skills will be considered assets.
- Must be able to get Government of Canada Security and Controlled Goods Clearances.

**Warehouse Worker Job Duties**:

- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Completes deliveries by driving a truck to and from vendors.
- Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
