**Summary**

The F&I Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the F&I Department processes. You will be required to maintain the profitability of the departments under your responsibility while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.

The F&I Manager focuses on the big-picture without missing any of the details and delivers consistent positive results.

You are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect the operations, but must also comply with these regulations. Strong communication skills are required to deal with customers, employees and vendors, as you represent the dealership.

**The Details**

**Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager role: in project management in the F&I and Sales department**:

- Oversees all aspects of the F&I Department; vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Ensures good working relationships with new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Assist and ensures that process is followed ensuring all financing and leasing deals are accurate and secure through financial sources and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
- Understanding and complying with federal, provincial and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
- Overseas the creating and maintaining of program for the F&I department and the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Overseeing the training and ensures that the F&I department and sales team have information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
- Working directly with the General Manager and Sales Manager (s) to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
- Responsible for all necessary and/or related funding/payment activities including license fee, down payments, finance and or leasing funding.
- Responsible for all in house/external licensing activities ensuring they are done correctly and all government requirements are complied with.

**Education & Experience**
- College Diploma or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies, or equivalent.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Valid Driver’s License for province of employment
- Provincially licensed as recognized by the MVDA (OMVIC, AMVIC, etc.)
- Ideally two (2) years minimum as a F&I Manager

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Lindsay, ON: reliable transportation or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
