**RATE AGENT REPRESENTATIVE**

**Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers. Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third-Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.**

Midland Transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a** **Rate Agent Representative **based out of our Head Office Location in Dieppe, NB. We are looking for someone detail-oriented with the ambition to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum High School diploma
- Completed post-secondary courses in Business Administration, Accounting or Transportation (Asset)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work collaboratively & efficiently with both internal and external customers
- Able to troubleshoot problems and follow through to resolution
- Proficient mathematical aptitude
- Experience in the Transport Industry & knowledge of rating structures (asset)
- Telemarketing or selling/negotiation skills
- Bilingual-fluent in both English & French

**What You Will Do**:

- Provide accurate spot rate quotes for Courier and Transport Services
- Support booking orders for domestic and International LTL, TL, and Courier shipments
- Follow up with quoted customers and field sales
- Actively support other team members
- Take ownership of your daily tasks and performance
