General Employment Details:
Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Permanent Part-Time

Hours: To be Determined, Based on Operation Demands. Varies between Mondays-Saturdays 100% on-site

Hourly Compensation: $16.92-$19.00

Manager: Roland Worthmann

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains the building interior and exterior by completing minor janitorial duties
- Maintains all buildings in good working condition
- Maintains building equipment, water treatment facility, operations equipment and machinery by following a maintenance schedule consisting of inspection, cleaning and replacement of defective or used parts
- Ensures the maintenance of the lot and parking lots, completing lawn and surrounding landscape maintenance and may remove trash
- Monitors equipment and parts to identify current and future requirements and places orders
- Ensures equipment, electrical, plumbing and heating are operational by conducting regular inspections and completing minor repairs
- Responsible snow and ice removal from the lots and walkways, monitors inventory levels and places orders and cleaning the auction lanes on non-sale days

Education & Experience requirements:

- Previous maintenance experience required
- Working knowledge of maintenance equipment
- Must be able to operate a loader and a skid steer
- Must be a self-starter and take initiative
- Ability to work independently
- Heavy lifting required
- Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract completed and cleared by ADESA is mandatory
