**Location**

**Position Overview**

Positions run for up to 10 months September-June. Hours of work will vary with position title and will vary dependent on program need. These positions DO NOT exceed 27 hours a week.

**Responsibilities**

This position is responsible for:

- Preparing, delivering, monitoring, and training staff on the delivery of the program in their specialized area
- Providing instruction to participants.
- Buying all supplies required and invoice city.
- Shopping and planning classes within budget limitations.
- Resolving participant/parent concerns whenever possible.
- Maintaining records on the program.
- Ensuring safety and supervision of participants.
- Maintaining positive public relations.

**Requirements**:
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a performing arts environment. Professional experience in your specialized area is an asset. You have confidence, patience, time management, strong communication and organization skills.

Training in HIGH FIVE - Principles of Healthy Child Development is required. Experience working with children ages 6-15 in a camp or recreational setting is preferred. Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR-C is preferred.

Some physical exertion is required, which may include setting up the program space and moving program equipment.

You will be required to attend all mandatory training prior to the start of camp. The majority of training will occur throughout June with a combination of online and in-personal training events planned.
