**Summary**
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Deficiency Technician to join our team and help ensure that every Whitetail Home meets our commitment to excellence.
The Deficiency Technician will be responsible for identifying and repairing deficiencies in newly constructed homes as well as in our purpose built in-house rental division.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong finishing skills, and a customer-first mindset to ensure our homeowners and tenants enjoy a seamless living experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Review and complete deficiency and warranty repair lists for new homes.
- Perform finishing work including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, touch-ups, hardware adjustments, and minor carpentry.
- Ensure all work is completed to Whitetail Homes’ quality standards.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, site supervisors, and project managers; Collaborate with team members to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, outstanding items and customer interactions.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Uphold company values in all interactions with clients.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in construction, finishing trades, and/or warranty/deficiency work is a bonus.
- Skilled in drywall patching, painting, caulking, and general finishing repairs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and ability to work and manage time independently.
- Positive attitude, collaboration mindset and strong communication skills with management, team members, homeowners and tenants.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with space for tool transport.
