**Position**: Instructor - Dental Assistant
**Location**: Reeves College Edmonton South
**Salary**: $32/hr

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Instructional Delivery**:

- Teach curriculum-aligned courses, promote critical thinking, and ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and address student absences effectively.
- ** Student Evaluation**:

- Assess student performance fairly through assignments, exams, and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress updates.
- ** Curriculum Development**:

- Update course materials and contribute to curriculum enhancements.
- Seek approvals for major revisions.
- ** Administrative Support**:

- Handle attendance, records, and other administrative tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with staff and participate in evaluations.
- ** Upholding Standards**:

- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and adherence to college policies.
- Address academic dishonesty and foster respectful interactions.
- ** Campus Engagement**:

- Attend campus events, meetings, and substitute when needed.
- ** Practicum Supervision**:

- Oversee students’ progress during clinical placements, ensuring alignment with objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Dental/Dental Assisting.
- 2+ years of practical experience; teaching credentials preferred.
- Current licensure or certification (e.g., CDSBC, NDAEB) preferred.
- Strong communication, teaching, and industry-relevant skills.
- Technological proficiency to support learning.
