**Life Insurance Sales Representative**

Location: Smiths Falls, Ontario
Type: Full Time, Permanent

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team for the role of **Life Insurance Sales Representative**. We are seeking an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. **Responsibilities**:

- Established personalized telephone contact with the clients. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sales of home/auto/life insurance policies. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies
- Seizes all sales opportunities, solicitation and product offers
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification

**Requirements**:

- Sales experience (preferred)
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals
- Self-motivated and strong leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Ability to relate to customers
- Strong work ethics with a total commitment to success each and every day
- Ability to work as a team, multi-task and attention to detail
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Strong understanding of social media/technology

**Qualifications**
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
- Strong understanding of social media/technology
- Product/sales experience (required)
- College diploma in a related field
- 2 years of life experience (preferred)
