- Conduct oil and filter changes efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, tire replacements, wheel alignments, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform basic repairs and service procedures with precision.
- Diagnose simple automotive issues using automotive diagnostics equipment to identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, fluid leaks, worn belts, or other potential concerns requiring attention.
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed, ensuring accuracy for each vehicle’s service history.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate.
- Support the team with heavy lifting tasks and general maintenance duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Promote additional automotive services such as alignments or tire sales to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.

- Prior dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with hands-on work in vehicle maintenance or repair settings.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques to identify mechanical issues accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment effectively and safely.
- Service technician experience that highlights your ability to perform quality repairs efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about their vehicle needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires, batteries, or other heavy components required during routine maintenance tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards sales opportunities related to vehicle maintenance services and products.
