**Job description**

CMZ Energy Inc., Petroleum Contracting Firm located in Thunder Bay, is currently seeking for a Certified Oil Burner Technician with a valid OBT‐1 and/or OBT‐2.

Responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for the maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of oil burner systems in commercial, industrial, mining industry, and remote first nation communities
- Ability to review and interpret blueprints and /or reference material
- Troubleshoot various heating and refrigeration systems and equipment. Understand compliance requirements and run tests to follow up to ensure system is working properly
- Installation and commissioning of HVAC elements as per manufacture and TSSA
codes/standards
- Perform installations, inspections diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on oil gas appliances
- Oil, natural gas, propane - furnace boilers, HRV’s air handling units, tankless and standard water heaters
- Promote a safe work environment
- Willing to travel
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Ontario Certifications: TSSA OBT‐1 & OBT‐2
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in the HVAC industry

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
