**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Server to join our team at The Renfrew Pub for our busy Summer season. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. **Duties**:

- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

As an exceptional server, you will be giving attention to what makes the business go round - our guests. You represent the core Wild Renfrew family values by showing up warm, friendly and genuinely interested in making the most out of every interaction. Together we will strive to set the standard for excellence in the destination Vancouver Island experience.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Greeting guests, seating, presenting menus, menu knowledge, taking drink/food orders in a timely fashion. Working efficiently with our POS system to punch in orders.
- Delivering food/drinks, maintaining and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Anticipating and attending to guests' needs with genuine and caring service.
- Pre bussing and ensuring a high standard of table maintenance.
- Taking responsibility for guests' dining experience.
- Communication with MOD regarding level of service and requesting assistance before guests' dining experience suffers.
- Clearing and resetting tables.
- Maintaining stations in an organized and productive manner.
- Adhering with company cash handling policies.
- Responsible for opening duties/closing and ongoing side work.
- Performs other tasks/projects as assigned by management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of one-year previous experience as a server in an upbeat fast paced, upscale casual dining environment.
- Teamwork oriented individual.
- Ability to work full time hours throughout the summer. Minimum 8hr days, 5 days a week.
- Be able to multi-task and maintain a professional and upbeat demeanor while under pressure.
- Cash handling and basic accounting functions.
- Valid alcohol and food handler's certifications.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Able to read, write, speak and understand English well.
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Physical requirements: walk or stand for long periods of time, bending, lifting up to 25kg. Be able to hear, speak and see without impairment.

**Salary**: - $17.40 + tips

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 5-6 months

Pay: $17.40 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
