Jack of Sports provides a platform for coaches & young people to develop their Confidence, Resilience & Teamwork by doing, trying, and helping. Our programs provide participants with the direct learning of sport skills through swim lessons, lifesaving, learn to bike, 3v3 soccer, and seasonal camps. The indirect learning of Confidence, Resilience & Teamwork are “life skills to pursue your dreams”. Serving over 35,000 families across the GTA in 18+ communities, Jack of Sports has ambitious plans to expand across Ontario, Canada, and the US. The Lead of Event Planning & Community Outreach will be an instrumental part of the executive team to drive the growth of Jack of Sports. A strategic mind with creative ideas will lead event planning, community outreach, and corporate sponsorships.

**Responsibilities**
- **Plan and Lead Events**: Design, coordinate, and execute community-focused events, including fun fairs, festivals, and 3v3 tournaments, to foster brand awareness and community engagement.
- **Develop Corporate Sponsorships**: Identify, reach out to, and secure sponsorships with local businesses, corporations, and organizations to support grass root events and expand community impact.
- **Community Outreach Strategy**: Build partnerships with local schools, parent councils and other organizations to promote Jack of Sports programs and events.
- **Engagement in Community Festivals**: Represent Jack of Sports at various local events and festivals, creating opportunities for program promotion and community engagement.
- **Coordinate 3v3 Tournaments**: Oversee the logistics of 3v3 tournaments, including venue selection, scheduling, and coordination with coaches and volunteers to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all participants.
- **Brand Awareness & Community Presence**: Utilize digital marketing and in-person outreach strategies to elevate the visibility of Jack of Sports in new communities, emphasizing our core values of confidence, resilience, and teamwork.
- **Marketing Collateral Development**: Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually engaging and informative event materials, such as banners, brochures, and social media content.
- **Performance Metrics & Reporting**: Track and analyze event attendance, sponsorship engagement, and community outreach results, using data to inform future event strategies.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in event planning and execution, particularly in fun fairs, festivals, and sports tournaments.
- Strong background in securing corporate sponsorships and building community partnerships.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and outreach programs simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management, with strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling, community-focused content.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices.
- Passion for community engagement, sports, and youth development is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
