**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team We are a family-owned Thai restaurant located in Sechelt B.C, the heart of the outdoors. We are a family-oriented company that provides a fun and relaxed work environment. As a server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by greeting and seating guests, accurately taking orders, serving an array of beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. We would love to have you join our team :)

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS when applicable.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Assist with beverage preparation and handling, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Process payments accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.

**Skills**
- Past work experience is preferred but not required
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Experience with POS systems, is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.75 per hour
