A well-organized, strategic thinking, commercially astute, and process driven procurement engineering professional, the Procurement Engineering Manager is accountable for leading the Procurement and Engineering Function to reliably deliver well-designed and well-negotiated Product and Vendor solutions that bring GoodMorning consumer products from idea to reality. *Creating and implementing a Procurement and Engineering Strategy that consistently delivers results, manages supply risk, and advances corporate objectives
- Following global procurement developments and trends to inform operational tactics and procurement strategies
- Building a deep understanding of commodity markets for key inputs, and leveraging this knowledge to manage supplier prices
- Actively managing vendor relationships and resolving contractual issues
- Building, training, maturing, and improving a team that works cross-functionally, and in partnership with vendors to:

- optimize costs through value-engineering and smart procurement
- negotiate win-win supply agreements that can be easily operated by GoodMorning's Supply Chain team
- Vendor discovery and commercial evaluation thereof
- Taking responsibility for resource governance of the Procurement Engineering Function
- Building KPI reporting to ensure continuous, high-performance of the function
- Driving performance management and compensation management processes
- Recruiting, developing, and managing performance of teammates to drive world-class execution

- 10+ years experience with global and domestic procurement, preferably with experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics
- Demonstrable knowledge of Procurement best practices and strategy
- Demonstrable knowledge of negotiation best practices and commercial awareness
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proven track record of building and leveraging relationships with suppliers
- Industry designations considered assets, but not required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Dental care
