**About this opportunity**:
We are looking for Summer Student to work in our Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) team for a 4-month term commencing in May 2025.

This position will be based in-person, in our downtown Calgary office. Supervised travel to Field locations in Alberta may be required.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- You will learn about Health & Safety, Environmental and Regulatory within the Oil & Gas industry
- You will be supervised and mentored by a senior team member
- Specific job functions may include:
- Assistance with emissions management programs, emissions reduction projects and emission reporting
- Updating Safe Work Practices
- Further development of Paramount Operational Excellence Management System
- Updating and implementing regulatory compliance processes
- Assistance in closure of past risk assessment/audit action items

**Who you are**:

- You are currently enrolled in your 1st,2nd or 3rd year of an Environmental Science or Engineering or relevant program
- You are able to work effectively in a team environment.
- You are someone who values feedback as a learning tool.
- You are motivated, hard-working and determined to achieve superior results.
- You are focused and have a keen attention to detail.
- Previous oil and gas experience is not required, however it is considered an asset

**To be eligible for a Paramount Resources student position, you must meet the following requirements**:

- You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
- You are available to work the full duration of the work term
- You are currently residing in Calgary or willing to relocate for your work term
- You are legally entitled to work in Canada, without restriction by way of one of the following:

- Canadian Citizenship
- Permanent Residency
- Valid work permit
