**Kids' Campus Child Care Centre is Hiring a Kindergarten Before & After Program Educator**

**Job Details**:
We are looking for an Early Childhood Assistant to join our Before and After School program at our **Maamawi iyaawag**location.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday 35 hours per week, in the form of a **split shift.**

School year hours to be 7:15am - 11:15am & 2:30pm
- 5:30pm Monday to Friday
- During school closures (winter break, summer break, PA Days), the shift will be a straight 8 hour day. _

**Rate of Pay**:
$21.50 per hour, inclusive of Provincial Wage Enhancement

**Requirements**:
Acknowledges and responds to the needs of each child

Assist the Registered Early Childhood Educator in planning and implementing a program that follows the lead of the children and creates an inclusive and stimulating environment to encourage each child to explore and learn on various topics of interest.

Maintains open and regular communication with co-workers

Ability to communicate verbally and written

Demonstrates skills working as a team player

Maintain confidentiality at all times

Attend and participate in all program /centre meetings and events as required

**Qualifications**:
Valid Certificate for CPR and Standard First Aid

Up to date immunizations including 2 step TB (Tuberculosis) test.

Criminal background check including vulnerable sector

Early Childhood Education Assistant diploma or Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years act is considered an asset
