**Job Description**:
**POSITION PURPOSE**
Reporting to the Lead, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for full cycle recruitment of university and college students, including proactively attracting and identifying top talent by utilizing consistent, innovative and high quality on-campus recruitment and social media best practices in the marketplace while strategically partnering with various university/ college contacts and the business to build a strong pipeline and talent community for co-op and new graduate positions.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Implements a campus recruitment program for the Region with a focus on attracting top talent and building proactive student pipelines and communities for hiring targets each term.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with post-secondary institutions to attract quality students to the Region for co-op placements including career offices, school alumni, professors, etc.
- Consults and partners with the hiring manager throughout the recruitment process and collaboratively works with the business to align student program initiatives with their business strategy.
- Engages in proactive student development activities (presentations, preparing promotional materials and career fairs) to promote York Region as an Employer of Choice.
- Effectively implements tracking and measurement processes that validate the return on investment of campus programs and enable leaders to prioritize investments.
- Responds to student enquiries directly and/or resolves difficult or highly sensitive complaints, escalating as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet Departmental goals and program/service objectives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Successful completion of a University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in campus recruitment within a fast paced corporate environment.
- Experience in implementing a campus recruitment program or supporting the development of campus recruitment strategies.
- Ability to deliver presentations to large audiences with a comfort level in public speaking.
- Ability to manage high volume recruitment coupled with a busy event schedule during peak recruitment cycles.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing social media tools and executing social media strategies for campus recruitment.
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for use on corporate business.
- Strong interpersonal, sourcing and networking skills with a proven understanding of the recruitment landscape to attract top talent.
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including Communication, Innovation, Teamwork, Collaboration, and Personal Ownership.
