**Ski Race Administrator**

JOB TYPE: Part-time, seasonal, 3 days a week

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (internal and external) Head Coach, coaching staff, Club members, other event team members, members of the Board, Snow Program team members

Reports to: Head Coach

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To enhance the overall club experience by organizing and implementing all aspects of the junior ski racing program. Act as front-line service level for all members and participants of the program and guests to the Club. To assist in the organization and coordination of hosting race events at the Club.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Registration and organization of program participants
- Communication with coaching staff, race crew, members and guests
- Responsible for all secretarial work for the technical aspects of hosting race events
- Organizing all registration and implementation of the race events
- Cooperation and teamwork in working with many different groups to implement daily program offerings and events
- Assist with general Club communications as necessary
- Maintaining related files and records and other duties as required

**REQUIRED SKILLS/TRAITS**:

- Strong computer skills with a demonstrated ability to use a variety of software programs
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
- Proficient at balancing multiple tasks and setting priorities in a fast paced environment
- Flexible, adaptable, and receptive to change
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ski racing is considered an asset but not required
- Previous administrative experience is considered an asset

This position is frontline; however, there is a considerable amount of planning and sharing of information that requires a workspace, computer, phone and walkie talkie. This position will require working weekends and during the winter holidays. Days off over the holidays include X-mas, Boxing and New Years day.

Effort: Stress is experienced coordinating multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, interacting with the guests and membership.

Working Conditions: This position is a frontline position that will require the ability to work in a busy, open atmosphere. The position requires substantial time working throughout the clubhouse, being able to lift and move equipment, work as a team and on your own.
